Late Work
General information on late assignments:
VHS does not have a standard policy for late work.
Late work is accepted at the discression of your VHS instructor.
Please be certain to check the policies and procedures for the submission of late work for your course.
Many instructors will not give credit for late postings to the Discussion Board.
Instructors may deduct points for late work.
Some instructors do not accept late work at all.
If you are going to be late with an assignment:
Please let me know. I will send your instructor a message. I will need the following information:
the assignment number
when it was due
the reason you are going to be late
when you expect to have the assignment complete.
You must contact your instructor through your private thread to let them know you are behind in your work and ask for an extension.
Please be sure to include the following information in your message to your instructor:

when you expect to have the assignment complete.
Even if your instructor does not normally accept late work, ask for an extension. They may grant it.
If an extension is granted, be sure to send your instructor a message via your private thread when you have turned in the assignment.
If your instructor does accept late work, please be sure you know the procedure for submitting late work. Most instructors will have a Dropbox for late work. Please be sure to know your instructor's policies.
