Parent Liaison GroupThe Bethlehem Catholic High School Parent Liaison Group is instrumental and active in the life of the school. Parent volunteers meet with administration and faculty members and provide support for dances, athletic competitions, Catholic Schools' Week and our Annual Live & Silent Auction. In addition, the committee members serve as community representatives to the school. Below are events and committees that parents can join to help with during the school year. EventsAnnual Golf Outing – Friday, July 27th Freshman Family Welcome BBQ – Sunday, August 19th (3-5 p.m.) Back to School Night – Wednesday, September 19th (7 p.m.) Football Program Book – Summer/Fall Homecoming Dance Chaperon – Saturday, September 22nd (7 p.m.) Open Houses – Sunday, October 21st & Sunday, March 17th (2-4 p.m.) Pointsettia Sale – December Catholic Schools' Week Activities - Week of January 29th Mini-THON Chaperons – February/March Outdoor Snack Shop – Spring sports season Tuition Raffle – Spring Baccalaureate Mass Reception- Wednesday, June 5th (7 p.m.) Sports Ticket Sales – Year round Athletic Team Parents – Year round Drama Club Parents – Year round Hawk Snack Shop – Year round (2:30-4:30 p.m.) Event Security - Year round CommitteesWelcomeTelephone the parents/guardians of transfer students to welcome them; answer any questions the parents may have; and provide information about parent activities. Help integrate new parents into the school community. AuctionWork on various committees preparing for the spring event; e.g. Solicitation, Public Relations, Program Ad Book, Decorations, Set-up, etc. The auction committee meets monthly. Freshman MentorsTelephone new Freshman families to welcome them and answer questions of parentsand provide information about parent activities. Help integrate new parents into the school community. Parent Public RelationsAttend and assist events that promote Bethlehem Catholic High School; e.g. Open House, High School Nights, grade school reps and serve as Admission Office contacts. School ChoiceAssist with Diocesan efforts to bring about school choice in the State of Pennsylvania. Coordinate activities such as contacting/visiting legislators, distributing yard signs, etc.
