Bethlehem Catholic High School Core Beliefs

 
  1. We believe the formation of the human person requires an on-going development of their spiritual character.
  2. We believe a Catholic education is essential to the cultivation of the whole person, enlightened with faith, worship and the transformation of the individual into the likeness of Christ.
  3. We believe, as a reflection of our principals of faith and charity, that all members of our school community are worthy of dignity and respect.
  4. We believe Catholic educators are responsible for the promotion of human dignity and the development of genuine human relationships in the school and outside communities, together with imparting of knowledge.
  5. We believe our students must be challenged spiritually, academically, physically and morally to be the best person that God calls them to be.
  6. We believe through the teaching and modeling of respect, responsibility, accountability and self-discipline, our students will become Catholic leaders having a moral influence throughout the world.
  7. We believe students must be prepared to meet the ethical, social and intellectual challenges of life in the face of advances in medicine, science and technology.
  8. We believe our students must be nurtured in the faith through scripture and Catholic social teaching as evidenced in ministries of service and justice to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
