Philosophy
Catholic education proposes that knowledge is for our service and that it must
be directed toward the common good and the salvation of all. An education is
truly Catholic when it uses learning to introduce the students to the faith and
to form them in Christ.
All members of our community are called to the ministries of evangelization and
discipleship. Through evangelization, our students are drawn to a deeper
relationship with Jesus and encouraged to bring the good news to others. Through
discipleship, in justice and in service, the students are led to serve those in
need, to seek peace and to defend the life and rights of others.
The Bethlehem Catholic community functions in an environment of love, support
and appreciation for diversity that reflects Catholic principles. We provide a faith-centered community in which
all students have the opportunity to develop spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally and
intellectually while being challenged to acquire knowledge in various
disciplines.
The Bethlehem Catholic community respects the primary role of parents in their
children's education. We uphold the sanctity of life at all stages and the human dignity
of each individual, regardless of cultural, economic or ethnic background.
